Setup: Place scoring boards facing each other, 23 feet from center of hole to center of hole. Backyard rule, 24 foot steps from backboard to backboard. Each team of 2 will use 3 washers, team mates stand at opposite scoring boards. Backyard rule, any team combination is cool, scoring is a standard, team competition with more amounts of people, or just toss for fun. We do recommend that the game be played on as level grass as possible. Use extreme caution if playing indoors, ceiling heights, etc.

Scoring: Winner of last game tosses first. The scoring is similar to horse shoes. A washer tossed on the board is 1 point, 3 points in the hole, 2 if it's a leaner on the backboard. All points scored in toss, are canceled by an alike toss from your opponent. Largest point cancels all points. 1 in the hole beats 3 on the board. Last team point scored, has first toss on next round. First team to score 21, by a 2 point lead, wins the game!

Backyard rules: The owner of the scoring boards, have been known to modify the boards for more scoring points. Like adding a screw in the center, for a 5 point luck shot. Also the game can be played with any combination of people. 1 on 1, 1 against 2, etc. The scoring will always remain the same. We remind players to always play with safety in mind, for the washers will harm small children and animals. Remember to take care of your score boards, for many years of fun to come!
